side hug

Greetings from Limuru, Kenya.

Mimi and I thank you all for your concern and for your support and for your prayers.

We are well and very, very busy.

My health is holding up fine.  I am fatigued, but think it related to our ministry schedule here.  God continues to challenge us with many fruitful opportunties, day by day.

Mimi is fine, she has struggled with a bacterial infection - but this is quite common here.

Recently, the weather has been unkind to us - we are up at altitude in cold and wet conditions.  We pray for sunshine - which is our source of heat!

My Greek reading class has been great and challenging for all.  The US and Canadian students teaching with us, those that I am supervising in Limuru, Nairobi, and in Athi River, are all well and blown away by their experiences.  I am most grateful.  Much deep learning is occurring as we are pushed beyond what we think that we know!

Our home church group arrives tomorrow night, which we are really looking forward to by now.

We have finals this coming week, I do a pastors' conference Thursday and Friday, and I will preach an outdoor crusade meeting on Saturday.  Did I tell you that we are busy?!?

Thanks for all - I will preach at Imani Baptist Church (a slum church that we have been helping) in the morning where we will welcome 8 new Christians into the fellowship.  We thank God for all that He allows us to enjoy here!  Our weekend work in the slums continues to be most productive - we have seen scores come to Christ, like every other trip!  Praise the Lord.

I will try and send an e-mail out to our list next week, please forgive me.

May God continue to bless you and yours.  Please know that we thank God for you.

Mimi and I cherish your prayers as we push on for our Lord.

Our hearts are full and getting fuller!

Love,
Jamie

Say Brother, been thinking about you a lot these days. Laura and I are working through her cancer. No real news yet, just praying and being carried into other styles of treatment and life. The summer is more than half over and Reagan is up north preparing for the end of her trip and to be home by August 21st. You and Mimi are in our hearts and prayers each day and look forward to seeing you soon. We would like to here of your wonderful adventure as it seems your ministry is growing with each visit you make to Kenya.

All I can say is what has already been said: We must not lose enthusiasm in doing good; for we in due time, we will reap if we do not wear out.

But I think that ya'll are already seeing this truth come alive.

May it continue to be so for all who are there fighting for His kingdom.

Dear Ones, We at HaMoreh Ministries wish you and yours a Merry Christmas. Our prayer is that you will enjoy celebrating the peace of Christ this season. We celebrate the birth of peace: "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men." (Luke 2:14) We celebrate the gift of peace: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let...
