Who We Are
HaMoreh is translated, “the teacher,” and is based on the Hebrew of Job 36:22, “Behold, God is exalted in His power; Who is ⌊M a teacher like Him?” It is the heart and the hope of this ministry to be used by God in helping people around the world to enjoy God more through being transformed by the renewing of their minds. HaMoreh Ministries, a Texas non-profit corporation born in 2006, is our ministry entity and is overseen by a six member Board of Directors.  Mimi and I thank God for those who share our vision and who add much to our efforts in Africa. We are excited about our return to Africa to our mission of teaching, preaching, and mentoring. Mimi and I pray for God to lead us and to empower us to do all that we can do to help our struggling brothers and sisters in Africa. We are eagerly expecting God to do miraculous things in us and through us for His glory!

In Houston, I am teaching New Testament, Old Testament, Greek, and Hebrew at Houston Baptist University and at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I preach around and about as invited. Mimi continues her volunteer efforts in Houston Baptist University’s library.

Annually, we spend June - August and December in Africa. Please join us in prayer, and check our website as we hope to be updating our prayer place, blog, and photos!
