While our African family continues to struggle in circumstances that look worse and more threatening day by day, Mimi and I continue to pray for help. We have been talking with our dear ones in Kenya each morning for the last month. Fear and fatigue steal the joy that we are used to hearing in familiar voices. Emotional pain flattens tones and shortens conversations. Laughter has become like a precious spice ... hard to find in that part of the world these days.
