DESCRIPTION:
DETAILS:

On the night of January 23rd, 2008, Dillon II of Houston Baptist University was transformed into a place of cultural diversity. The idea of a racial reconciliation dinner began in the ACTS office. The main goal was to educate the student body of the cultural diversity on campus. The night began with an introduction from the Coordinator of Community Service, Jason Shaffer. Black Student Fellowship's twenty-member choir sang. Dr. Lawrence Clark and his wife, Kristen also performed. Dr. Jamie Johns delivered a dramatic presentation. It sparked thoughtful questions and discussion. The night was filled with intriguing conversations and dynamic presentations of drama, vocal performances, and speeches. Most importantly, the racial reconciliation dinner filled HBU students with a sense of wonder and unity.
